Festival: Dynamite and Opium

Tales From Darkest Dunedin were proud to debut, for the Otepoti Dunedin Heritage Festival, their new walking tour, the "Dynamite and Opium" tour of Dunedin's very own "Devil's Half Acre."

Beginning at the iconic gentleman's convenience at the bottom of Manor Place, the 60-minute tour passed sites of historic events such as the 1883 murder/suicide by dynamite, a sermon which changed the course of New Zealand history, dark alleys which saw dark deeds, and more.
