Join local historian Gregor Campbell for a fascinating guided walk around Dunedin's Northern Cemetery.
The Northern Cemetery contains the most spectacular memorial in the city. It also contains the remains of the author of New Zealand's National Anthem, the builder of a clock which has run without winding since the 1860s, three men hanged in the Dunedin jail yard, New Zealand's first female doctor, and a little boy who drowned at the wharves, aged five, in 1909.

Meet at the Sexton's cottage at the cemetery's main entrance at 40 Lovelock Avenue.
