Andersons Bay Cemetery, 192 Tomahawk Road, Andersons Bay, Dunedin 9013, New Zealand

Join local historian Gregor Campbell for a guided walk around Anderson's Bay Cemetery, the largest and most recent of Dunedin's three main cemeteries.

There are many soldiers buried and commemorated here; one died on New Zealand's worst and most fatal day of combat. We also find Dunedin's famous hermit of Flagstaff Hill, the first New Zealand death of World War 2, a mass grave of victims to the Spanish Flu pandemic during 1918 and much more.

90 minutes long.

Meet at the car park near the crematorium.

  • $40 per adult aged 16 and over.
  • $25 per youth ages 10 to 15.
  • Child 9 and under free.

25% of your ticket price will be donated to the Southern Heritage Trust.

Please book through Tales From Darkest Dunedin.
