Neville Peat will give an illustrated talk about the glory days of Broad Bay as a visitor attraction from the 1890s to the early 1900s, informed by a city schoolgirl’s memoir of family life and times at their holiday home on the little peninsula called Dunoon.  Alan Roddick will be speaking about the cultural history of Broad Bay, in particular Charles Brasch’s part in the origins of the Caselberg Trust, and the wider number of writers associated with 10 Gwyn Street, Brasch’s crib, in the years before the Trust was started.
