Loo Walking Tour
Join Dunedin's own Loo Lady, Alison Breese, as she takes you on a fascinating trip through the history of Dunedin's long-gone underground toilets and the sanitation of the city.
11 Oct, 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Corner of George and London Streets, 387 George Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016, New Zealand
Why were there no toilets for women? Where were these toilets 'hidden'? Hear about how Alison's research led to getting a small urinal listed on Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga's National List in 2023.
The tour's start point is on the corner of George and London Streets outside 'The Bog' pub. It finishes at the Manor Place Convenience on Princes Street.
Bookings are essential.
