Dunedin Gasworks Museum

Imagemap

Among the exhibits inside the Engine House are several exhausters, a governer, an AC/DC unit, a beam engine, an electric booster, and what is believed to be the world's only working Donkin Booster, manufactured by the Bryan Donkin Company Ltd.

Among the exhibits outside are an 1879 gasholder frame, an ammonia washer, an electrostatic detarrer, and two condensers.

There are also exhibits that while related to the gasworks, were not part of the gasworks itself, such as the steam shovel, and several domestic gas ovens.
